途境──市民大道II
作品說明：
《途境─市民大道II》延續藝術家創作系列《途境》的脈絡。該系列最初源於 2019 年藝術家對陌生城市環境的探索與理解。
透過細緻的手工描繪，藝術家試圖重新喚回那些被速度掠過而忽略的空間，重構人們日常生活中未曾細看的場景。圖像被雷射切割於不規則的不鏽鋼板上，並鑲嵌於建築牆面。破裂的表面喚起記憶的斷裂，觀者被邀請在心中重新拼組熟悉的城市路徑。
一道橫向的光帶貫穿整體作品，象徵臺北市主要的東西向軸線─市民大道，也象徵都市的流動、交通與現代性。相對之下，靜止的圖像捕捉日常的親密片刻，提醒人們重新注視城市中人與人之間的近距離交流與場景。
An Attempt at Exhausting Civic Boulevard II (Taipei, Taiwan) is a continuation of the artist’s series, Attempts at Exhausting a Place. The series began in 2019, when the artist started exploring and seeking to understand unfamiliar urban environments.
Through intricate hand drawings, focus is placed on spaces that are often swiftly overlooked, reconstructing scenes that are frequently unnoticed in people’s daily lives. The images are laser-cut onto irregularly shaped stainless-steel plates and inlaid on building facades. The fragmented surface evokes disjointed memories, inviting audiences to mentally reassemble a familiar urban pathway.
