作品說明：
《共振於時間裡》以松山菸廠與大台北鐵道文化為背景，透過拼貼、重組與聲響演算建構一座「活化記憶」的聲音雕塑。作品中的物件皆保有原始聲音，人們在其中聆聽、回應，編織出各自的歷史記憶。藉由聲響的再現，觀者得以重新踏上時光軌跡。
創作過程中，以敲擊逐一測試音管的主模態頻率，並透過演算法建立音頻排列與演奏邏輯，讓聲響喚回沉寂的歷史情境。
作品不僅再現歷史場景的聲響肌理，也是一場聲音的「記憶考古」。它代表著與過去並存的雙重狀態，暗示當代對歷史想像的留白。《共振於時間裡》是一座記憶的發聲器，訴說時間、材料與聲響的交織。它不只是工業的回聲，更讓歷史在此刻繼續共鳴，穿越時空，展現「仍活著」的想像。
Resonating in Time is a sound sculpture set against the backdrop of the Songshan Tobacco Factory and the historical railroads in Greater Taipei, which “revitalizes memories” through collage, reconstruction, and sound algorithms. Each object maintains its original sounds, inviting people to interact and create their own memories. By bringing these sounds back to life, audiences can retrace the path of time.
During the creative process, the main modal frequencies of the pipes were tested singly by striking them. Algorithms were then applied to arrange the audio frequencies and establish performance logic, allowing the sounds to evoke dormant historical scenarios.
In addition to recreating the audio textures of the historical setting, this work acts as an “archaeology of memory” through sound. It represents a dual state of coexistence with the past and suggests a void of historical imagination in the contemporary narrative. Resonating in Time serves as a voice for memory, recounting the interplay of time, materials, and sound. It is not only an echo of industry, it also allows history to resonate in the present, demonstrating its continued relevance across time and space, expressing the imaginative persistence of life.
