松山煙草工場的基地選擇和開始建設前，都是經過規劃和設計的，本次展出昭和14年(1939年)松山煙草工場最初建設的建築盛土敷地工事圖和瑠公水利組合區域圖，本展區邀請在地文史工作者鄭勝吉以及聲音藝術家謝奉珍合作，一同了解當時建築的規劃和代表意涵，同時也讓大眾知道水圳和園區的關聯，即使在城市發展的現況下，很難去想像過往的規劃和樣貌，透過藝術家的創作來理解脈絡及聆聽園區獨特的聲音風貌。

Locate: Using Songyan as a base
Rigorous planning and design were carried out when choosing the site to build the Songshan Tobacco Factory on. On view in the exhibition are the initial architectural sketches and construction drawings for the Songshan Tobacco Factory and the layout drawing for the water resource system from Shōwa 14 (1939). This section presents a collaboration between regional historian Chen Sheng-Chi and sound artist Hsieh Feng-Chen, inviting the audience to learn about the planning and the symbolic meaning behind the site’s initial construction, while also showing the connection between the water resource system and the site. Under the area’s current urban development, previous planning and notable features are hard for people to imagine, but through the artwork created, we can learned about the site’s historical context and listen to the park’s unique sounds.
