不論是帝國南境的大王椰，蘇杭溪畔的垂柳，還是張開濃密遮蔭的原生正榕，這裡的豔陽及雨慷慨地將它們從土壤裡扯出一株株向四方伸展的枝葉。作品《葉拓》為一鏡面造型作品，座落於日本時期菸廠辦公廳的工作人員進出口與園區正門之間的交界。結構上以此處繁盛樹種的葉廓轉化成抽象造型，以金屬烤漆鍍上葉面於四季紛呈而出的大地色彩。作品嘗試以鏡面材質穿透場域的歷史，穿透日本時期菸廠內加工的菸葉，穿透各個樹種曾承擔起的不同國境想像，在視角輪轉中映射出自己純粹的輪廓。

Introduction｜

Whether it's the royal palms from the colonial South, the weeping willows from the riverbanks in Suzhou and Hangzhou, or the lush native banyan trees with dense shade, the sun and rain here generously pull from the soil branches and leaves that then sprawl into all directions. This artwork, Leaf Rubbings, looks like a mirror and is installed between the entrance to the office of this Japanese colonial tobacco plant and the gate of the park. Structurally, it is composed of abstracted shapes of the leaves seen on the various types of trees here, with the blades of the leaves painted with metallic varnish to showcase various earth tones seen throughout the four seasons. The artwork seeks to use a mirror material to run through the history of this place and to connect with the tobacco leaves that were processed in this Japanese colonial tobacco plant in the past. It also links with the various types of trees here and the different national imaginations that they hold, with one’s own simple silhouette reflected, as perspectives shift and turn.
